Postcode Districts are the first two letters plus one or two digits of the Postcode before the space (e.g. M11 or UB7) and there are nearly 3 000 in the United Kingdom. The Postcode Areas and Postcode Districts are shown in red on top of clear, full colour Ordnance Survey map backgrounds to provide a Postcode map of the highest quality and accuracy.
Postcode District maps are commonly used for sales territory management, creating franchise areas and planning distribution zones.
